“A positive and open minded approach
is the essential key for exploring life”
A big warm welcome!
With beginning words I would like to introduce myself properly and give you a virtual handshake, my name is Andreas. I’m a young man from the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. I recognize myself as an optimistic realist.
The purpose why I made this website is to let the people I’ve met have a window into my world. Web publishing is a great tool for various forms of creativity.
I have an itch to write. Always has. I have a long-lived plan to develop into a writer.
It’s one of many dreams since early childhood.
Becoming a fire fighter or a policeman was unlike the other kids not on my top priority list. It must have been a result of my almost fanatic fixation of old and new literature.
I distinguished in early years that books could cause a disturbed night sleep. And I believe understanding or at least try to understand the complexity of our human lives is more or less necessary in the end of our days.
You could call it aiming for a higher target to see beyond the borders of what you likely are used to.
Like climbing up to a peak of a mountain…

I appreciate listening to opera, musicals, going to the theatre, music from now and before, water sports, adventures, dining in front of a candle light, tenderness, hard work, meeting new people and hear their stories, foreign cultures, beautiful architecture and mostly everything regarding creative design, photography and technology.
I value the small portions of life such as watching a colorful butterfly spreading its wings for the first time or listening to the sound of a wave rising and falling. This I can do for hours when I’m free.
When I was younger I used to go out under stormy weather just for running in the clattering rain. Getting wet and dirty was lots of fun. To be honest, still is. I love the smell in the atmosphere after a heavy rain. Another great feeling is to lie down on soft grass with eyes looking up in the sky with the surrounding colors of spring and birdsong. Events like that fascinate and trigger me. It’s as easy as pie. No more, no less.
Big things can easily deceive ones eyes, however small thoughts of mind can make a totally new unknown world become visible. I guess it’s how we observe our world, especially in which direction we focus. Ever tried to look down closely at an anthill with a magnifying glass? I have, it’s really cool.
A much beloved hobby of mine is bicycle touring to remote places. Travel by bike is a way of life. It gives a seldom touch of freedom which is entirely out of this world. Our human body is an extraordinary machine and simultaneously with two wheels and pedals, it’s even more marvellous. It does not only give you the wide passage to a healthy body but also the feel of the elements of the exciting and mighty Mother Nature.
Before my interest in bicycle touring took place I was in a stage in life where my dreams not were equivalent to my own reality. I felt it was about time to leave the cuffs that chained my restless soul. I stepped on the brake, put in another gear, looked in the rear mirror, made decisions, changed lane and accelerated toward an unknown destination. And to be frankly, I’m really glad I did…
